大槻美奈
京都府舞鶴市出身。
日々の疑問や違和感を起点に、無意識から立ち上がる感覚をすくい上げるように表現を行う。音やイメージを通して内面を捉え直し、世界との関係をひらいていく。
幼少期よりピアノと聴音、作曲を始め、アコースティック楽器、
デジタル音楽制作へと表現領域を拡張。ピアノ弾き語りを軸に、
作詞・作曲・編曲まで一貫して手がける制作を行う。
2019年以降は映画音楽にも活動を広げ、主題歌・劇伴を担当した
作品が『MOOSIC LAB』音楽特別賞受賞、『新藤兼人賞』選出など、国内映画祭にて評価を受ける。
2021年からはアルバムジャケットのアートワークも自身で手がけるなど、音と視覚表現の接続を試みながら、表現領域を横断した制作を行う。
これまでにアルバム『MIND』（2016）『SOUND』（2018）『BIRD』（2020）『BIRD (live)』（2021）『LAND』（2022）を発表。
加えてシングル作品も複数リリース。
ジャンルや形式に捉われず、言語化される前の感覚を形にしていく。
MINA OTSUKI
Born in Maizuru, Kyoto, Japan.
Her work begins with small questions and subtle moments of discomfort in everyday life. She creates music and images that give shape to feelings that are often hard to put into words, exploring the space between inner landscapes and the world around her.
She started studying piano, ear training, and composition at a young age, and later expanded her practice from acoustic instruments to digital music production. Centered around piano and voice, she writes, composes, and arranges her own work, shaping each piece as a complete expression.
Since 2019, she has also worked in film, composing both theme songs and scores.
Projects she contributed to have received recognition at film festivals in Japan, including the Music Award at MOOSIC LAB and selection for the Shindo Kaneto Award.
Since 2021, she has created her own album artwork, exploring the relationship between sound and visual expression. Moving between music and visual art, her work does not belong to a single genre, but instead follows a more intuitive and fluid approach.
Her releases include the albums MIND (2016), SOUND (2018), BIRD (2020),
BIRD (live) (2021), and LAND (2022), along with several singles.
She continues to create work that gives form to feelings before they become words.
